9RnK7 This one only got better with time and is catchy in an awesome way. There is certainly room in Týr's amazing discography for this kind of album, the music really sounds like the cover and title suggests it will. So many of the songs were amazing to experience live (especially Axes). Hans is a criminally underrated guitarist 🤘 Favorite track: Axes.

Erik Salazar Tyr's 9th album of Battle Ballads is exactly that; battle ballads to accompany you on your next quest into the great unknown. Their trademarked style of folk metal is on full display here in all its battle glory and I'm here for it. While not as good as their previous album Hel, it's still exactly what I've come to expect from them. It's familiar, it's filled with catchy melodies/choruses and is just so much damn fun to listen to. A must have for any folk metal fan! Favorite track: Axes.
